2025 February General Meeting

Despite the cold weather, Mary Bishop and Jan Flanagan, Co-Activity Directors, continue to organize enjoyable activities and lunch gatherings. <a data-mce-href="https://www.makersmill.org/" href="https://www.makersmill.org/" title="makers mill" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Makers Mill</a> in Wolfeboro recently hosted a group of MWC for a facility tour. As is customary, the event commenced with a meal. <a data-mce-href="https://www.nolansbistro.com/" href="https://www.nolansbistro.com/" title="nolans bistro" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Nolan's Bistro</a> in Wolfeboro provided a private room with a warm fireplace, and the food was exceptional, complemented by attentive waitstaff.&nbsp; Makers Mill and Nolan's Bistro

January finds the ladies hiking at the Loon Center

The Moultonborough Women’s Club is starting the New Year off with so many bangs, thanks to the hard-working and imaginative Activities committee, chaired by Mary Bishop and Jan Flanagan. Do you enjoy hiking? Meet up with the hiking group at various locations through the winter months! Or volunteer to read and do a simple craft with kids at the Moultonborough Public Library. Tour Makers Mill in Wolfeboro later this month and be inspired to create! Enjoy lunches at local eateries and klatches at area coffee shops! Hop on the bus and head to Boston for Art in Bloom at the Museum of Fine Arts in May! There are so many opportunities to participate, and that’s on top of the fun monthly meetings and myriad ways to help and support the community.For example, the MWC just welcomed Donna Kuethe to the January meeting and enjoyed hearing about her incredible 3100+ mile bike trip from San Diego, CA to St. Augustine, FL. Donna, a retired Moultonborough Recreation Department employee, is a breast cancer survivor and raised over $21,000 for the Payson Cancer Center in Concord with her ride.
