A carload of paper towels, dog and cat food, towels and blankets, pet carriers and a scratching post were delivered to the Lakes Region Humane Society in Ossipee. Lakes Region Humane Society

Hello. &nbsp;We had a warm welcome dropping off food pantry and monetary donations at the Bearcamp Center. &nbsp;Lianne and Heidi helped unload the car and then Heidi gave us a wonderful tour of the facility: &nbsp;self-serve Pantry, reception, kitchen with a newly hired chef, performing arts room, art room, reading room, and other general spaces for different activities. &nbsp;They were so appreciate of all that the Club has done since Lianne’s presentation - in particular the women that helped wrap Christmas gifts. &nbsp;Our food pantry donation came at a prime time as they are starting the new year and the Pantry shelves were pretty bare.&nbsp; Bearcamp

At the January 5 Moultonborough Women's Club meeting, staff and volunteers, including MWC members Tina Middlebrook and Susan&nbsp; , from CASA of N.H. (Court Appointed Special Advocates) explained the role of court advocates for abused and neglected kids. Extensively trained and highly respected by judges in District and Family Courts statewide, each CASA volunteer becomes the voice in that court for a child seeking a safe and permanent home.&nbsp;Currently 38 CASA of &nbsp;N.H. volunteers cover 40 cases, serving 64 N.H. children.For MWC's February meeting, members look forward to a Galentine (!) Tea Party, complete with fancy teacups, valentine colors, and activities to foster camaraderie, laughter and joy. MWC welcomes 2026

The 'Mitten Tree' at Meredith Savings Bank in Moultonborough is a testament to the generosity of the ladies of the MWC, embodying the true spirit of Christmas.
