A delicious lunch was enjoyed by the MWC ladies at the Birch &amp; Vine Restaurant, on Thursday January 18th. MWC Ladies Dine Out ~ Birch & Vine

It is with some sadness that we will be saying goodbye to MWC member Anne Marie Bedford. She has owned a home in Moultonborough for 18 years and joined the MWC 5 years ago when she became a year-round resident here after retiring. Anne Marie graduated from the prestigious Juilliard School in New York City. An esteemed pianist, she went on to become an Associate Professor at West Chester University, Head of Piano at Immaculate University and Assistant Professor of Piano at Duquesne University. Her accomplishments are long and impressive! Now, at the tender age of 85 years, Anne Marie has decided to make the move down to Connecticut to be closer to her son. If you see her, wish her well. While she is taking her gorgeous and treasured black satin grand piano with her to her new home, other items will not be joining her. She has included a list of household items that she will be parting with, should you have any interest, please reach out to her. MWC Member News ~ Anne Marie Bedford

The MWC co presidents, Libby Reichlen and Joanne Wilhelm, hosted a new member Coffee Connections at Identity Coffee Co. in Meredith. It was wonderful hearing how welcomed the new members felt attending the club meetings. Many of them have also been joining in on the club social activities and plan on doing even more with the club down the road. MWC Coffee Connection ~ Integrity Coffee

Our own movie aficionados and MWC members gave “The Boys in the Boat” a (mostly) thumbs up recommendation. Regardless, it’s hard to go wrong when you go to BarnZ's Meredith Cinema. The matinee price coupled with their senior discount tickets, popcorn and comfy seats; makes for an enjoyable experience. MWC Pop Up Movie - The Boys in the Boat

Often, the extremely talented Ways and Means Committee Chair, Sharon Paton, has personally created highly desirable, one-of-a-kind items for the raffle. Check out the table at the next meeting and try your luck at winning one of these prized items!

She spoke on the importance of maintaining a balanced physical and emotional well-being state. Karin began her yoga journey 20 years ago and is currently an instructor at The Studio Scissorgy Day Spa in Moultonborough, NH. Karin is certified through the Abhyasa Yoga Institute and received her aerial yoga certification through the unnata method. In addition to her studio work and yoga travel, she teaches yoga at a Laconia after-school program for elementary students. Karin shared with MWC members how she loves the beautiful all-encompassing practice of challenging one's mind, body and spirit. After taking everyone through a breathing exercise, members left feeling a little more grounded and at peace. Namaste.
