The MWC joined the 4th of JULY PARADE in M'Boro

It was a lovely afternoon at the Geneva Point Conference Center when the Moultonborough Women’s Club gathered for the Annual Banquet to celebrate seventy-two years. A delicious luncheon, catered by Geneva Point, was enjoyed by seventy members. Dotti Simpson, Parliamentarian, presided over the candlelit Installation Ceremony of Officers as members looked toward the 2022-2023 year. A slide show presentation choregraphed by Libby Reichlen, Historian and VP, showcased the club’s achievements and social events over the years. The MWC Woman of the Year award was presented to Harriet Bicksler. A faithful member of the MWC, she has held the offices of Director, President, VP and Corresponding Secretary as well as chairing the Donations, Town Meeting Lunches and Bake Sale Committees. Harriet has served as Historian and was a member of the Scholarship committee for many years as well as many others. Winter Hikes

The Moultonborough Women’s Club celebrated the Kentucky Derby with their own fundraising event. “About 60 men and women gathered for an evening of fun and dressing in ‘Derby Fashion.’ Some of the activities included scratch tickets, basket raffles and corn hole! All money raised benefited the Moultonborough Scholarship Fund. In addition, a delicious dinner was served,” said Kimberly Ziegele. Kentucky Derby Fundraiser

“Wear your PINK” was the call out from Deb Kumpf and Nancy McDonough as the Moultonborough Woman’s Club team gathered on a warm October afternoon for the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk. Sixteen walkers collected over $7,200 in donations last month for the American Cancer Society, making this ambitious group the 7th highest fundraising team in all New Hampshire for this year. Over the last 25 years, club members have raised over $148,000 for this worthy cause.
