Albert Einstein The Moultonborough Women’s Club has teamed up with the Moultonborough Public Library (NH) to read to children on Friday afternoons. On this particular afternoon, MWC member Wendy Monbouquette is shown reading to 2 young children. Having children engaged by reading stories to them at a young age is critical to their development. Should you like to be a Storytime reader, the club has a sign-up for ongoing Fridays. Take a look at your club emails for how to sign up to be a reader. The library chooses the book ahead of time. You need only bring your most engaging of voices to keep the kids captivated.

Welcome to Fabulous MWC Bridge Group of Moultonborough, New Hampshire. There are some pretty slick players sitting around the card table each week and we're pretty sure a few are card counters, no bluffing! MWC members gather at the Moultonborough Recreation Department, 10 Holland St, Moultonborough, NH on Tuesdays from 1 PM-3 PM. MWC members are WELCOME to come to learn how to play the card game of bridge. All skill levels are WELCOME to join in to learn and play the game. You do not need to come every week. It's a drop-in friendly game of cards, although its nice to give Dotti a "heads-up" ahead of time. The lesson learned through the telling of the story was, that if you believe in yourself, you may just be able to accomplish what you thought you couldn't. Last Tuesday, these newbies learned correct racket handling, how to “stay out of the kitchen”, and maybe learned how to score (complicated). Instructor Rick Hassler did his best instructing everyone that the pickleball actually does not bounce that well and you have to go to it as it will not come to you! Instruction will continue to go on ongoing Thursday mornings from 9:30 AM-11 AM, joining in on the beginner group lessons at Gilford Hills Tennis and Fitness Club. It is only $20/lesson. If you are interested in learning, plan on attending!
