The women of MWC baked all week to make sure tables were full of many kinds of muffins at the Moultonborough School District - SAU 45 meeting on a Saturday. You helped us raise over $800 for the scholarship fund! Truly outstanding. Thank you to MWC VP Jayne Savage for organizing the event and to all the bakers that helped make this event a huge success. Next time we're going to have to look into having coffee to go with those muffins. Maybe even a cookie or two, because cookies can be for breakfast, too.

They all agreed that it was exciting to learn that the story behind the glamorous movie actress Hedy Lemarr was one they never heard before. Often women’s historical significance beyond beauty and fame is ignored in the history books. It was an enlightening piece to read. Albert Einstein The Moultonborough Women’s Club has teamed up with the Moultonborough Public Library (NH) to read to children on Friday afternoons. On this particular afternoon, MWC member Wendy Monbouquette is shown reading to 2 young children. Having children engaged by reading stories to them at a young age is critical to their development. Should you like to be a Storytime reader, the club has a sign-up for ongoing Fridays. Take a look at your club emails for how to sign up to be a reader. The library chooses the book ahead of time. You need only bring your most engaging of voices to keep the kids captivated.

Welcome to Fabulous MWC Bridge Group of Moultonborough, New Hampshire. There are some pretty slick players sitting around the card table each week and we're pretty sure a few are card counters, no bluffing! MWC members gather at the Moultonborough Recreation Department, 10 Holland St, Moultonborough, NH on Tuesdays from 1 PM-3 PM. MWC members are WELCOME to come to learn how to play the card game of bridge. All skill levels are WELCOME to join in to learn and play the game. You do not need to come every week. It's a drop-in friendly game of cards, although its nice to give Dotti a "heads-up" ahead of time.
