MWC Charitable Works ~ Mitten Tree

MWC member Janet Schurko once again did an outstanding job coordinating the collection and delivery of homemade mittens and gloves to the Meredith Village Savings Bank’s Mitten Tree at their 991 NH-25, Moultonborough, NH location.
Avid knitter and MWC member Peg Young was on hand to decorate the tree with many of her gorgeous creations. Co-President Joanne Wilhelm joined in on festooning the tree with hats. Overall, MWC members donated 169 items that are sure to keep people warm this winter as the temperature drops. If you are in need of warm hats/gloves, stop by and choose something off the tree until New Year's eve. They’re FREE and were made with love. All remaining items will be donated to local schools and nonprofits. Happy First Day of Winter!
