MWC Charitable Works ~ Lakes Region Food Pantry

We asked and you delivered, MWC members!
Each month the Moultonborough Women’s Club chooses a local charity that could use our assistance and then we call upon our membership to help out to meet their needs. For the February meeting, we asked MWC members to bring in food staples to be donated to the the Lakes Region Food Pantry & Thrift Shop because “No one should have an empty plate.” And, oh my, you brought the food staples! The heaping, overflowing grocery bags filled the table at the food pantry. Bob McSorley, of the LRFP, expressed deep appreciation for all the donations. The food will go to good use in serving the food needs of those in our local communities.
