Halls were decked in holiday greenery at the MWC December meeting as members welcomed the Moultonborough Academy's Chorus who performed selections from their upcoming concert.  Choral Director, Emma Forest, then led the ladies in a yuletide singalong.  The members donned festive sweaters in the spirit of the season and enjoyed an assortment of holiday treats provided by this month’s hostess committee.  Sharon Paton and her team of creative ladies outdid themselves presenting December’s raffle items; a display of Christmas presents added to the festive decorations.   

Waypoint and the Moultonborough Children’s Christmas Fund were this month’s designated gift organizations and a team of knitters and crocheters led by Janet Schurko displayed hats, gloves, mittens and scarves to be donated to the Meredith Village Savings Bank’s Mitten Tree.

The MWC would like to thank the people of Moultonborough for their continued generosity, as over $5,600 was donated for scholarships during November.
