September General Meeting!

Monday, September 8th 11:30AM

The first General meeting of the year is a luncheon held at Geneva Point Meeting House.  Members are to gather at 11:30AM, bring their own lunch and a new or almost new item for our Coffee Can Auction Event.

Reiki Class with Kristen Bedrick

MARK YOUR CALENDAR!  The Activity Committee will host a Reiki Class at the M’Boro Library. Participants are advised to wear comfortable attire for a relaxing and non-strenuous morning with Kristen Bedrick. Please note that space is limited and the cost is $22.00 cash; no checks will be accepted, although Venmo payments will be accepted with a small processing fee. Interested individuals should contact Jan Flanagan for additional information and registration. Castle in the Clouds Lucknow’s Garden Tour

Friday, September 12th at 10:15AM

Join head gardener, Gretchen Large, in touring Lucknow’s garden landscapes, and pick up some gardening tips and tricks for you to use at home!  Gretchen is excited to share with you her passion for gardening, which is displayed in the beautiful and thoughtfully designed outdoor spaces surrounding the Castle. She even has her own business called The Random Gardener! This tour includes walking through our gardens. Please dress for the weather and wear appropriate footwear. Please arrive five minutes early to check in at the Carriage House. From there, you will be transported up to Lucknow Mansion for the tour.

Craft Fair Fundraiser

On Saturday, September 13th the MWC will hold a Craft Fair showcasing the wares of our talented members!

Lunchtime Lottery

Ready to mix things up?  Join our second Lucky Draw Lunch!  Sign up for the chance to be one of five lucky guests chosen for a lunch hosted by a fellow member. Each host picks a fun theme, and you bring a dish to share. It’s a great way to meet new people and connect with friends. The luncheon will be held on Friday September 19 at 11:30 AM. 5K Run & Walk to Fight Back Against Parkinson's!

Saturday, September 20th at 9:00AM 

Join fellow MWC members for the 7th Annual RSB Lakes Region for Parkinson’s 5K Run/Walk Saturday September 20th.  The race will raise funds for Rock Steady Boxing Lakes Region’s Adopt-A-Boxer program, as well as support equipment and training. These classes have proven that anyone, at any level of Parkinson’s, can lessen their symptoms and lead a healthier/happier life. Date and Time: Saturday, September 20th at 9:00AM.  Starts and Ends at the Downtown Gym, 171 Fair Street, Laconia.

3D Printing!

Thursday, September 25th at 10:00AM

At the M’Boro Library, 3D printing presentation by Doug Whitley

Join us for an introduction to the world of 3D printing.  Doug Whitley will be presenting at the Moultonborough Library and his presentation will cover the home/hobbyist printing technologies, the diverse range of materials used in additive manufacturing, and how and where to get parts to print.  Attendees will gain insight into the step by step printing process, from concept to final product with real world examples.  Whether you’re new to 3D printing or looking to refine your knowledge, this talk will provide practical insights and inspiration for anyone interested in understanding what 3D printing is and maybe find a new hobby!

A $5.00 donation is requested and you must sign up with Mary Bishop.  Friends and family are welcome.

MWC Winni Walkers

Tuesdays & Thursdays 9:00AM

Come and join the MWC Winni Walkers!  A casual walking group looking to get a little fresh air and enjoy great company.

Frequency: 1–3 times a week – whatever works for you! 

Distance: We’ll aim for 1–3 miles, depending on how everyone feels.  This is all about having fun, connecting, and enjoying the beautiful mornings together. No pressure – just come as you are and walk at your own pace.
