Friday Story Time

$50 includes all materials M’Boro Library 11:30AM-3:00PM.  Space is Limited!  Needle Felting is the craft of sculpting loose wool using a special needle that has small notches on the tip. The notches push the wool together and lock it in place. It’s a fun, relaxing, meditative - creative process.  Felt a traditional style/gnome.  Every home needs a Gnome and you can never have enough Gnomes! Sign up with Mary Bishop.

Lucky Draw Lunch!

Lunch at a Members House!  Ready to mix things up?  Join our third Lucky Draw Lunch!  Sign up for the chance to be one of ten (five at each house) lucky guests chosen for a lunch hosted by a fellow member.  Karen Ciardi and another member will be hosting.  They will choose a fun theme and all you do is bring a dish to share!  It’s a great way to meet new people and connect with friends.  The luncheon will be held on. November 7th.  Email Mary Bishop or sign up at our October meeting for your chance to be paired with a host and other members for a fun luncheon. 

Paint and Sip

Friday November 14th at 12:30PM to catch up, class starts at 1:00PM

Paint and Sip with a Bay View Gallery Artist NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY!!  MARK YOUR CALENDAR!  We’ll be creating a Wood Door Crown painting: Paint a door crown of 20” x 3.5.” The wood piece will be already cut, prepared, sanded, and varnished for us to paint on with acrylics. The class will be 3 hours with a break of 15 minutes so everyone can have the chance to talk and share the progress of their work.  The Gallery will be closed to the public and will assign an experienced artist, provide wine and soft drinks as well as light refreshments for our MWC members only.  Bay View Gallery, 285 Daniel Webster Hwy, Meredith (next to Church Landing).  Meet at the gallery to enjoy the art and catch up at 12:30PM. Class starts at 1:00PM, $65 includes all materials, drinks and light refreshments Questions?  Ask Mary Bishop!

Tuesdays & Thursdays 9:00AM

Come and join the MWC Winni Walkers!  A casual walking group looking to get a little fresh air and enjoy great company.

Frequency: 1–3 times a week – whatever works for you! 

Distance: We’ll aim for 1–3 miles, depending on how everyone feels.  This is all about having fun, connecting, and enjoying the beautiful mornings together. No pressure – just come as you are and walk at your own pace.
