MWC Hiking Group ~ Rainbow Falls

The MWC Hiking Group had 11 ladies (and one token man) join in the hike to Rainbow Falls in Plymouth. It was a wonderful, crisp November day in the NH woods and recent rains meant that Rainbow Falls was a joy to see. The 1.6 mile loop trail (we took a slight detour to the top of the falls, making it slightly longer) meandered through the Walter-Newton Conservation Area to the falls, then circled back out by the babbling brook. The trail was well groomed with several wooden bridges and large stepping stones over muddy areas. Definitely worth a return trip during different seasons. Tracy was a great hike leader, making sure “no hiker was left behind”.
