MWC Hiking Group ~ Mt Waukewan

Last week the MWC ladies strapped on their snow boots, snowshoes and crampons and headed into the snowy woods for their hike of Mt Waukewan. It is a 1.7 mile loop trail in Meredith. Typically an easier trail, the recent snow on the ground coupled with the new snow falling brought on a few challenges. However, the peacefulness of getting into the woods on such a glorious winter day could not be beat.
