MWC Coffee Connections ~ The Boro Baking Co.

The MWC members didn’t have to go far to find themselves at The The Boro Baking Co., owned by celebrity chef, Jennifer Clifford, made famous by appearing on the Food Network’s Holiday Baking Challenge in 2019. We can attest that her rosemary cheddar scones are superb; although you can’t go wrong with choosing anything in the baking display case.
To tell you the truth, it’s just nice to get out of the house and share a nice warm cup of coffee and conversation with other women from around the lake, hear everyone’s stories of what brought them to the area and find shared interests. When so many of us are transplants from other regions, it’s nice to know that we can make new friendships in this neck of the woods.
We had a record turnout this month with 18 women in attendance. There were some long time members along with some newbies. We played a little musical chairs, as some of us mixed and mingled to meet the first timers. So glad everyone came out!
