MWC member and author Lonnie Schorer was the guest reader at the Moultonborough Public Library (NH) on a recent Friday afternoon. In the most animated of styles, she read her children’s book “The Moose Family, Roaming the Forests, Footloose and Free”. The daily adventures they face are emotional ones that children may also face including saying goodbye to friends, getting lost, learning to play together with friends, and welcoming new siblings. The book can be helpful in helping children express their own emotions when faced with such issues. After reading the story, Lonnie gifted each child with their own book to take home and share with their family.
